Vitiligo is a skin disease that consists of depigmentation. Depigmentation leaves the skin of the body discolored bright spots. Acquired vitiligo is one of the most troublesome skin diseases.White spots can appear on any part of the body and take on different sizes from small spots up to several centimeters.
Pigmento is a comprehensive prepress offering an effective treatment of vitiligo. It inhibits the immune response against melanocytes and prevents the loss of skin dye caused by free radicals.
Psoralea corylifolia, the main ingredient of Pigmento, stimulates melanocytes to produce melanin, which is the pigment. Calamus, cassia tora and melia azadirachta have antifungal properties. Tephrosia purpurea modulates both cellular and humoral components of the immune system. Other components also have immunomodulating and antioxidant properties. Thus, Pigmento effectively introduces pigmentation in acquired vitiligo.
